How to get there...

From Glasgow city centre, follow signs for Aberfoyle and the North (A81). Once on the A81, go through Bearsden, Milngavie and Strathblane. From Edinburgh, take the M8 towards Glasgow city centre. Take Junction 16 (A81). Leave the motorway (signposted Aberfoyle A81), and then take the right-hand lane. At the traffic signals, turn right under the bridge. Take the left-hand lane to join the A879 (signposted Milngavie). Keep on the road until reaching a roundabout, and take the 2nd exit on the left towards Milngavie. At the next set of traffic lights, turn right onto the A81, and continue on this road. Pass through Milngavie and Strathblane. On entering the village, the hotel is on the right-hand side.

Each room has individual characteristics, and some have spectacular views of the Campsie Fells. Standard fittings include an en suite bathroom with a bathtub/shower and a hairdryer. A TV set, radio, hospitality tray, Internet access and a direct dial telephone are further in-room features. Additional amenities include an iron and ironing board, individually regulated heating and a balcony/terrace.
