We stayed for 5 days and 2 weekends. Staff were helpful at all times. The hotel was overpriced like all British hotels but we preferred this hotel since we know the area and we could not do better by booking ourselves. The dining room was excellent although the rooms were rather shabby and needed some maintenace. Dripping taps , holes in ceiling where some rewiring had taken place and the holes had not been plugged up. However we would definitely stay again at this hotel. << Click here to read less

Staff was very good, most helpful. Hotel like most U.K. hotels is rather overpriced although your rates improved the situation. Dining room was excellent and since we knew the area we were happy there. We stayed 5 days and 2 weekends and were in different rooms each time. The decor was somewhat blah and some maintenance was needed - dripping taps and holes in ceilings wheresome wiring had been done and the originalholes were not filled in. However we would certainly stay again because of its situation and we will not do any better for price elsewhere. << Click here to read less

hotel staff were pleasant and helpful, rooms could do with modernising, plenty of breakfast to pick from the buffet with excellent views across the city.
dinner was nicely presented, worth the supplement.
the pool and fitness room looked good but we hadn't time to try them out.
parking is free on ground floor with secure roller shutter door, opened with a 4 digit code that changes every day. we would recommend this hotel. << Click here to read less
