Not the glitziest of hotels, but the bed was comfortable enough and the top floor room was quiet in spite of being right next to the lift. The best thing about the hotel is its central location, being a stone's throw from the high street. I was happy enough with the stay; the hotel has a certain days-gone-by charm about it, but if my room is anything to go by, expectations of the standard of room interiors should perhaps be no better than 'OK'. Car parking in the hotel is popular on Saturdays. Best to pull up near the entrance and go in to reception to see if they might squeeze your car in, even if it looks full. << Click here to read less
