With 300 days of warm weather throughout the year, everyone loves to visit the beaches in Valencia.The Las Arenas is one of the two main beaches located near the city and is easily accessible by tram and bus nos. 20,21,22 starting from the centre of town.This particular beach was famous for its beautiful health resort in the early 20th century but alas is no longer in use.

The total length of the Las Arenas beaches is about 1200 meters.The sand is fine and gold in colour.The good bathing conditions and sunny beach entices crowds to revel in its beauty and is a nucleus of activity. People of all ages flock to the beach to sunbathe or swim which are ideal past-times to whip up your appetite which is then catered to by the many restaurants lining the beach area offer culinary delights.
The promenade that runs alongside is known as the Paseo Maritimo which invites you to walk, jog or ride a bike on special lanes.
If you happen to be in Valencia during the months from April to October don’t forget to visit the beaches during the night as it is one of the most popular venues for night entertainment. During the winter months the golden beach attracts many couples to take a romantic walks that seems to be endless. This city is definitely being recognized as an ideal location for an unforgettable vacation.
