| Dark volcanic sand, Crystal clear waters and spectacular views will greet all visitors to this beautiful landscape of sand, sea and surf. During low tide periods the sands of Roque Beach is dark and more abundant. The area around the Roque Beach is ideally suited for practicing surfing. Roque Beach’s large waves make this stretch of coast a favorite spot with surfers and body boarders. However caution may have to prevail as sometimes the waters around Roque Beach become dangerous due to frequent currents and sudden swells, despite the apparent good condition of the sea. There are some open-air cafes and fish restaurants by the beach and the beaches of Almaciga and Benijos are not far away. |
