The Bananera - Jardines del Atlantico is perhaps more suited for a visit on a cloudy day and is situated just outside Los Cristianos. The Bananera, or Banana Planatation is a glimpse of one of the industries that brings a large amount of foreign currency to these islands. The Bananera - Jardines del Atlantico includes a guided tour among the banana trees and this particular plantation has a fully operational model of the Tenerife irrigation system on display.
