Orlandos much loved Predators are gearing up for an action packed season of arena football. The season kicked off on September 10th 2006 at the Arena Bowl with an interesting match against the formidable Ravens. Aspiring football players check out the Predators open tryout camp scheduled for September 30th 2006 at Tinker Field which is easily found next to the infamous Florida Citrus Bowl, remember some of the team’s star players were discovered at try out camps. The last season ended on a low note for the Predators on June 11th 2006, the game saw the Predators lose 69 to 61 (a well fought game) to mighty Chicago at the Arena Bowl. Moving onto better news the Predators much loved head coach Jay Gruden has been signed on until 2011 while the team has been in extensive training at the at the Walt Disney World of Sports Complex.
Jay Gruden is renowned for his discovery of fresh talent that has brought in the likes of Javarus Dudley, who played with the Predators in 2006 earning the coveted Arena Football League All-Rookie honours. The team remains Orlandos pride and joy with players like Jake Eaton and Lin-J Shell joining up in 2005 and 2003 respectively.
