Fashion Streets in Milan

In Milan, there are numerous streets which are completely dedicated to shopping, thus on any given day there are thousands of people flocking to each street depending on the nature of their requirements. The high fashion stores are all in one area known as the Golden triangle, and are only a few minutes away from Piazza Della Scala. This area is easily accessible via subway on the yellow number 3 line.

Via Montenapoleone is well known for its famous fashion boutiques. Though not the most affordable, this street is known to be one of the first fifteen most prestigious fashion streets in the world. Salvatore Ferragamo and Valentino are between Via Borgospesso and Via Santo Spirito. Louis Vuitton, Prada and Versace are some of the stores on this amazing street offering a wide variety of items ranging from men`s and women`s clothes, bags, shoes and many other accessories.

Missoni, Dolce and Gabbana, Chanel, Prada, Kenzo and Valentino are some of the fashion boutiques on Via Sant` Andrea which also has glamorous designer wear for both men and women.

The Via Della Spiga in which traffic is banned, is lined with some of the best stores, and is a haven for many window shoppers. Precious jewellery could be found at Bulgari, high fashion costume jewellery at Sharra Pagano and even vases and tiles at Ceramiche di Caltagirone which are all down this one street.

Antico Caffè Cova, a cafe known for its fabulous sweets is situated at the intersection of Montenapoleone and Sant` Andrea.

Via Durini and Via Manzoni are the best for quality furniture but are quite expensive. The Via Fiori Chiari area is quite crowded especially on the third Saturday of the month when antique stalls are set up on the street.

The Porta Ticinese area is ideal for those who wish to purchase trendy clothes but have a smaller budget. Fashionable clothes for children are available on Via Torino close to Piazza Del Duomo.
