Marineland - Majorca |
 |
Amazing feats of acrobatics performed by trained Dolphins and Sea Lions at Marineland keep drawing larger crowds to the park every season. Located at the scenic beach of Calvia’s Costa d’en Blanes on the beautiful island of Marjoca the park is a marine zoo and is home to a multitude of marine life from sharks to a vast variety of exotic fish, which eventually turns out to be a fun and educational trip for the whole family. Sea Lions and Dolphins are the star performers here and you’ll be amazed at the intelligence of these gentle creatures! They are backed up by the non marine but equally skilful performances of colourful tropical parrots. At least three shows are scheduled for the day making it convenient to work out a visit to Marineland. Not to be missed is the reptilian quarter of the zoo, on display here are species of crocodiles and snakes from around the world. The shows at Marineland are interactive so get ready for a spot of action-if you are lucky enough to be chosen during a performance. Definitely one of Majorca’s biggest attractions Marineland is a treat for the whole family where you can enjoy the golden sunshine and fresh sea air synonymous of this vibrant Mediterranean island.
