Since its beginning the LA Auto Show clashed its timings with the Detroit Motor Show. But starting this fall, the LA Auto Show 2006will have its own time on the motoring calendar it will have its own time slot in November instead of January. For the first time in its history, the LA Auto Show received international sanctioning from the Paris-based (OICA). This highlighted the significance of the LA Auto Show by placing it on the official international show calendar among the other prestigious Auto Shows.This fall, be prepared to feast your eyes on offerings from all the big guns of motoring. For starters, among the 1000 odd vehicles on display,GM will be launching all their revamped SUV`s. Nissan will be making a debut, their first since 1999. Audi will be showing off their new Q7 and the exotics will be coming out in full force showing off their new breathtaking lineups. Lamborghini`s Gallardo Spyder, Ferrari F430 Challenge and the alreadylegendary, Bugatti Veyron,will be show stealers for certain. Also keeping the environmental themes going will be the offerings from Toyota and Volkswagen with their fuel sipping technology.
With more than 1,000 automobileson display at the LA Auto Show, and over 30 making their World or North American debut the show is guaranteed to excite all car aficionados. From Hybrids to crossovers, pickups and SUVs to luxury sedans, powerful sports cars and concepts, visitors will have a full choice ofa full range of vehicles to suit every need.
Start date- Friday, December 1 2006 and the curtains will fall on Sunday, December 10, 2006.Opening times will be Saturday 9:00 am- 10:00 pm,Sundays 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Monday thru Friday -11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The exhibition will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, and tickets are priced at $10.00 for Adults, Children:12 and under - free when accompanied by an adult.
