The Los Angeles Airport is ranked as the fifth busiest airports in the world and is located on the southern coast of California 24 kms from Los Angeles.It consists of four east/west parallel runways and serves 88 airlines through nine terminals flying both international and cargo traffic.With its increased expansion in air cargo, LAX is fast becoming a commerce leader and is looking towards further expansion in the year 2006.
Providing extensive facilities that include convenient transport links by road and rail, each terminal has a range of restaurants, bars, newsstands, shops, business services, ATMs and banking facilities.The Tom Bradley Terminal is considered as the main terminal and consists of additional facilities such as a first aid station and direct telephone services for reservation of hotels and vehicles.
Parking is available near all terminals in the central terminal area.A complimentary shuttle transports passengers from the parking area to the airport. Disabled facilities are also available. Some of the attractions in Los Angeles are the Getty Museum, Disneyland LA, Six Flag Magic Mountain, LA Zoo and Warner Bros. Studio.
