About New London Theatre London Opened in January 1973, the Paul Tvrtkovic designed New London Theatre is a relatively new theatre in London’s vibrant West End. Inside its modern exterior, one will find elegant interior decor as well as a 2 level air conditioned amphitheatre which can seat up to 1,106 people. An unique feature of the New London Theatre is its movable stage, seats, lights and walls which allow a great deal of innovation and flexibility. These versatile features give the audience a chance to be a part of the action and proved to be invaluable when Andrew Lloyd Webber brought to life the hit musical “Cats” which ran successfully for over twenty years.
Location… Located in London’s energetic Theatreland, the New London Theatre is within close proximity of many places of interest including Covent Garden, the Royal Opera House, the British Museum, Shakespeare`s Globe Theater, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace and bustling Oxford Street. Those looking to explore other parts of London can make use of the well connected Holborn, Covent Garden and Tottenham Court Road Underground Stations which are just a short walk away from the New London Theatre. |
