Carnaby Street

If it is the latest in chic fashion or trendy urban street ware you are after, then London’s Carnaby Street is the place for you. Located in the lively district of Soho, Carnaby Street is home to a diverse range of shops selling ultra cool fashion accessories and clothing which are quintessential items in any modern trendsetters’ wardrobe.

Named after Karnaby House, Carnaby Street was created in 1683 and came into the world spotlight when it became the home of many fashion boutiques and music shops which helped fuel London’s “Swinging Sixties”. Today Carnaby Street offers visitors access to more than 140 shops, restaurants and bars including 30 leading brand name flagship stores, all set amidst a laidback atmosphere where one can just chill out while indulging in some serious shopping.

Popular Stores
Those looking to keep up with the latest fashion trends or even set their own, have a wide range of well known brand name outlets to choose from. A resident of London’s Carnaby Street since 1968, Ben Sherman offers shoppers a chance to sample some British style clothing, while other popular fashion shops include the 2 storey Lee jeans concept store, Puma (flagship store), Diesel and Vans (flagship store).

Lovers of footwear can visit the Timberland Boot Company and the widely popular J. Shoes where you can even customize a product to your own style and specifications. Also on Carnaby Street is the sweet smelling B Parfumerie shop and the Japanese lifestyle store known as Muji which sells affordable and practical items for the individual, the family and the home.
