Space A concert hall located next to the water park in Playa d’en Bossa was converted into the reputed club named Space in 1989. Being innovative, Space opened its doors during the day when all other clubs were closed. This made Space’s popularity grow by leaps and bounds. The contagious music and different nights with Carl Cox, Manumission, La Troya, Matinee and many more has made Space the most sought after club in Ibiza and no trip to the island is complete without a Space session. Music ranges from the sublime to hard rock. The sunset terrace is where you can chill out in the sun whilst enjoying Vodka lemons. At Premier Etage you can listen to soulful classics and left field beats, whilst inside the dirtiest techno wickedness beats a wild rhythm. A stupendous contrasting programme is put together at Space by fabulous DJ’s who are known to be the very best. Admission rates apply.
Bora Bora Beach club This legendary club is located in fair proximity to Space in Playa d’en Bossa and the airport, with jets whizzing low above your heads creating a deafening noise. As it is right on the beach itself, Bora Bora plays the role of a beach bar, chill out area and a club. The music commences in the afternoon around noon and stops at midnight. This is one of the clubs that does not charge an entrance fee and drinks are relatively cheaper than other Ibiza clubs. Bora Bora is very often the starting point for club hopping as well as the place where they end up when Space closes at 3. p.m. and clubbers are not quite ready to call it a day. As the day advances the beat of the music also picks up becoming more of a tribal dance.A famous hang out for party lovers, Bora Bora is ideal for those on a low budget.
Amnesia Amnesia came into being in 1976 and is located between Ibiza and San Antonio on the main road.Today the enclosed area reverberates with ear rending sound, with a super sound system creating music that is meant to be felt as well as heard.Amnesia also has Espuma parties, with great volumes of foam are pumped onto the dance floor, covering everyone in its path rising as much as 10 feet.Aptly termed as the club that never sleeps Amnesia continues to live up to its reputation and is a popular venue with clubbers. It has the most diverse music policy, featuring Cream’s euphoric rushes that attracts fans time and again to Amnesia and on Mondays, super sonic creations of Cocoon’s techno tastic is another crowd puller. The magic is created in the main room where the jiving masses are cooled off in a moment from 30 degrees to 0 by two massive ice cannons.
