The venue for civil marriage ceremonies is La Sala Rossa, the spectacular Public Hall in the town hall of Palazzo Vecchio. For smaller receptions and dinners many well known restaurants can be exclusively reserved, whilst some privately owned cottages in the charming countryside are ideal for an intimate wedding reception upto 40 guests that are custom arranged with the owners permission. The Villas and gardens can be rented for a week or more and offer a romantic backdrop for a private function. There are several medieval castles which are impressive and offer a more formal and exclusive dream venue for your wedding. Some of the high end castles can be rented exclusively for larger parties. The hotels usually require music and festivities to end by 11 pm, but private arrangements can be made to rent the hotels exclusively.
