The Safari Aqualeon (which means Water-lion) which is located in Baix Penedes in Catalonia is unique in that it combines the dual attractions of an aquatic park with a wildlife safari. The Safari Aqualeon comprises a thrilling Aquatic park, two safaris and three unforgettable wildlife shows which feature the best in fun and adventure. Some of the attractions in the water park include the Black Hole, the Kamikaze slide, winding slides, rapids, still water pools and whirlpools. Especially designed for small children is the Mini Park which ensures that little ones can have fun in a safe environment. The Safari Aqualeon has a bus service for the safari element in the park, which they recommend as the safest way to get up close with some of the wildest animals in the world. The safaris can be categorized into: Herbivorous Wildlife Safari and the Carnivorous Wildlife Safari and is home to over six hundred animals.The mini zoo is also sure to thrill adults and children alike with its collection of fearsome, adorable and altogether exciting display of animals. There are also several exhibitions which feature reptiles, birds of prey and exotic birds. Location / How to get there
The Safari Aqualeon is located in Baix Penedes in Southern Catalonia. There is a special Aqualeon Bus which operates on three different routes which you can be picked up from in order to visit the park. Please contact the park direct for more details on pick up points and times.
