Initi.... click here to readmore >> Just back from a week staying at Tropical Park Apartments, Tenerife. The apartment was excellent, spacious and very well equiped. Initially very clean but the daily cleaning did not match up with the 'twice weekly' change of sheets promised in the apartment information. We were left clean sheets on one day only , so I had to make the bed, and we left the dirty sheets in the hallway but they were just pushed under the bed - not very satisfactory. Apart from that the apartments had a good and friendly atmosphere, bar staff very friendly. The situation of the Hotel is quite out of the way and a very small resort with just a couple of roads with a few bars and restaurants. This suited us for the evenings - try Krackers bar owned by Rosa - very welcoming. Fortunately we had a car so could travel out each day, though the local bus stops at the bottom of the road. Handy supermarket just on the corner, but expensive imported produce. Tip take you own salt and pepper!!! All in all I would thoroughly recommend this Hotel for couples and families - with own transport or be prepared to use the local bus. << click here to read less
