Just back from the Mediterranean Palace and I have to say we loved it! But do book a Room with a pool/Sea View as it is worth the little extra. The Rooms were in good condition and are serviced every day to a really superb standard. No matter what time you slept in until and eventually left your Room when you came back it was always immaculate....every day we marvelled at this when we returned. Staff are very friendly and the Breakfast Buffet is fantastic..there is so much choice and even made to order omelettes..nothing is too much for the staff and I was very very impressed. The Pool is also wonderful and huge and had no problems with sunbeds..there were plentiful also...Pool Service also great. WE spent one Day up in the Atlantis Chill out and again great ..we were so pampered and they made our stay so great. Also we are in our early 30's and the Hotel Guests and the area would be mainly over 50's and so much nicer with great Restuarants and only a small Walk to the AWful Veronicas. The Mare Nostrum Resort is still lively but just not tacky like the other area. Will def stay here again! << Click here to read less

As usual, this Hotel fully lived up to previous experiences. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Breakfast is excellent and the best of the offerings from Hotels around the vicinity. Entertainment at night is professional. Overall an excellent Hotel, so much so that we go back again in 6 weeks time. Looking forward to it.

The Mediterranean Palace is a great place to stay. I was looking for a relaxing hassle free holiday and that is exactly what I got. Large hotels can often be intimidating and impersonal but this place is far from that. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. They speak many languages so whatever you ask for is not a problem (there isn?t that usual shrug of the shoulders stating they don?t understand!). The massive pool towels are an excellent feature, with the restricted baggage allowance it means you don?t have to take any towels at all. There was a small amount of works still being carried out in the hotels but at no point did it ever cause any disturbance or annoyance so please don?t be concerned about this. Whilst the rooms are not what you would expect from a British 5 star hotel, you will not get this anywhere in Tenerife. You have to understand that it is rated relative to other hotels and with the cleanliness, comfort and features you really can?t go wrong here. The surrounding area is lovely. There are lots of places to walk to and excellent restaurants and coffee places on your door step along with loads of shops (many top designers).
I will definitely be returning to the Mediterranean Palace. << Click here to read less

The bedroom was a little old not great for the rating. On my last day there my son who is 9 years was in the lift on the main reception floor he had to run out of the lift because the seating area around reception there was a baby approx 3 years old being minded by his brothers, they were seated and playing some game while the baby had climed up on the ledge of the seating where there was a drop to to ground floor. My husband had ran over as well luckily i think if he had droped he would have been dead. I reported to reception upon departure. I don`t think this hotel is suitable for children. I believe it is closing in March for renovation. We had an enjoyable stay, we shall return as I have been to Tenerife many times. Thank You. Marie. << Click here to read less

Stayed here on recommendation. Perfect location for the better part of Las Americas. Classy area. They stated that the hotel was full, however, there were plenty of sun beds (although the pool was freezing !) and it wasn't crowded at breakfast, which was superb. You could get anything you wanted and more. The staff were accomodating and nothing was too much trouble. They attended our calls promptly and with a smile. Only two concerns. Firstly the mini bar didn't have a price list, but my fears with squashed as my bill was quite reasonable, even though we did make pigs of ourselves ! Secondly there is a fantastic private pool on the roof which they wanted 15 euros a day for. All in all a stunning hotel, excellent facilities, spot on location. Highly recommended to all. We were 2 girls in our 30's and fitted in with the young and old alike. Would definately go again for longer than a week next time. << Click here to read less

the room was a little dated although very clean and maid service was excellent. the hotel itself was quite noisy but that may have been due to the fact we were near the lifts and in an outside room facing the street. the pool was beautiful and plenty of sun beds with clean pool towels every day. the food was excellent with a good selection suitable for everyone. << Click here to read less

The hotel was in an excelent location - easy walk to Los Christianos and Las Americas, opposite superb new Safari shopping centre and right next to the beach.
Facilities at the hotel were good, puplic areas were clean and spacious. The bedrooms were clean and fresh sheets ; towels every day. They are, however a bit old fashioned and do not give the impression of a 5* hotel. Breakfast was great - lots of choice. Did not have any other meals in the hotel as there were so many fa restaurants close by. << Click here to read less

We were disapointed with the inaccurate rating of this hotel it does not deserve 5 star rating for the following reasons
Mini suites which we booked are not spacious all decor and furnishing tired looking sense of old 70's
No basic tea making facitities or iron / trouser presses in room
Buffet breakfast like queing for canteen like facilities selectoin of food very predictable
We used majority of other restaurants but were disapointed will extra monitary penalties imposed for same despite the fact that we had paid for full board. Menus in these restaurants very basic and similar.
Outside facilities very impressive
Entertainment excellent
Would only return on a b/b basis and to a standard room if it was a bargain holiday not full price << Click here to read less
