The hotel was basic but clean. We paid extra for a sea view room, which did have an amazing view but was otherwise quite expensive for the standard of the room itself. The hotel is situated at the top of a very large, steep hill which makes up the town of Taormina itself - they might say it is only 1km from the town but this involves a very long and arduous trek up several hundred steps to get from town to hotel, which is definately not for the faint-hearted!! It otherwise costs 15 euros in a taxi for a 5 minute journey. Breakfast is basic continental but does the job. More >> |
