Once a monastery of the order of the Geronimos, the hotel features a main facade which boasts a ceramic-tiled tower, Roman-arched windows, colourful bougainvillaea and a 17th century chapel. It has two main beautiful patios.

The rooms, living areas and dining room are elegantly decorated with oil paintings , mudejar doors, gilt mirrors and tapestries. El Esparragal`s surrounding pastures are used for breeding fighting bulls and Spanish horses. Other features include a large reservoir, a bullring and a swimming pool.
