The Hotel and rooms are visually attractive but very impractical. In the bedroom there are no drawers or sufficient shelf spaces, so for our 4 day stay we had to continually us our suit case for clothes that didn’t hang. Getting in and out of the bath to have a shower was very hazardous with the toilet pushed close up to the end of the bath and a fixed large glass screen at the other end. The dining area, which was the least practical of any hotel we have ever stayed in, was very cramped with chairs and tables extremely close. Getting the self service breakfast, which was only of adequate quality, was a nightmare, only two people could serve themselves with food or drinks at any time. So unless you were down for breakfast very early ie 7.30am or late ie before 10.30am you had to jostle with other guests and catering staff, who were replenishing food, drink & plates etc,
For a quoted 4 star hotel it does not offer any refreshment service at all after 10.30 am until after 6.00pm.
Access by car to the hotel now that the new tram system has been installed in Servilla centre is nearly legally impossible, you have to either go the wrong way down a one way street or across a pedestrian only square.
The best part is the location which is superb for the centre of Sevilla. The room cleaning service was excellent. And we found that the very large bed although hard was very comfortable.
I would not recommend this hotel it is not worth a 4 star rating More >> |
