Arrived at hotel, no record of booking. Staff not helpful despite email confirming booking. I had to make phone call on my own cell phone. Who awards star rating??? Room was tiny,bed small and uncomfortable.Two of our five day visit room was not cleaned.Had medical emergency during the night, staff did not help at all. Had to find phone no's and help myself. Very loud teenagers on school trip in adjacent rooms, complained to management at 2am, absolutely no action taken! Two mornings fruit on buffet was actually rotten in parts. Possibly the worst hotel experiences I have had.

The hotel Emperador Trajano is just outside the area of the main points of interest. However, the hotel is in a residential area so its great to see and meet the locals. Lots of hairdressers, supermarkets, local bars and the bus stops only minutes away from this hotel. There are major building works going on in Seville and right outside the hotel they are building an underground car park! The hotel charge for a room safe but final to inform me in advance and the towels had holes in it! The furniture in the rooms have seen better days and one staff member got very upset because we wanted hot water to drink at night (as we all had the flu and sore thoats)! I would go back to Seville as its a lovely city and the people are wonderful but stay at a different hotel.
