We could not have chosen a better hotel for our stay in Seville and I would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to experience a taste of authentic Andalucia in wonderful surroundings. A couple of words of caution however - the hotel facade is currently undergoing renovation and when we arrived it was totally covered by a tarpaulin making it almost impossible to locate. Thank heavens for the porter stationed at the entrance to the alleyway who rushed across to meet us!!. The hotel consists of a series of houses linked together and the journey to some of the rooms, despite the numerous lifts dotted around, could be a little arduous for those with health or mobility problems. My partner has a mild heart condition and as we were originally allocated a room on the top floor of the furthest part of the hotel we had to ask to be moved - needless to say this was accomplished with charm, good humour & patience by the reception staff & the porters. Although we did not eat in the hotel restaurant during our stay, preferring to sample the many excellent restaurants close by, if the standard of the food is anything like the breakfast table it will be wonderful. Highly recommended!! More >> |
