Seville: Hotel Becquer. We stayed for 7 nights at the above hotel and found all the facilities to be excellant. Hotel Becquer is very central and only a few minutes walk form the Cathederal, shopping area, restaurants and other places of interest. If we return to Seville we will certainly use this hotel again. The Becquer is an excellent, modern hotel, and offered immensely good value for money. Had I payed 50% more I would still have felt it worthwhile. Rooms were spacious, modern and spotless, and every facility was there (bar a kettle). Fresh towels were always on hand, beds were turned down each night, and the air conditioning always worked. We were in one of the rooms facing the inner courtyard, which meant we had no noise from the street, and the room soundproofing was excellent. The hotel itself was well appointed, elegant in places, and had a good range of facilities, including a rooftop pool. Buffet breakfast was extensive and varied, and the quality of food on offer was always very good. Staff were polite, helpful and many could speak some or more than some English. The location is good - it's on a large main boulevard, near to the bull ring and close to the river. In all ways a very happy choice.
