This hotel is excellent -with the best swimming pool - wonderful food and service -and a real oasis of calm charm in beautiful countryside surroundings.The downside is that being in the country it is difficult to get to Rome by public transport but a taxi to the centre costs about 30 euros.the hotel - a 12th-century castle- has a big wedding trade so weekends should be avoided .
