As we just wanted a short 'stop-over' in Rome after our trip to Naples this hotel was perfectly placed. We walked out the front of Termini, turned left, crossed the road, walked one block and there it was facing us. It really is only 5 minutes walk away from Termini. The only drawback is the lift which won't work if either the inside or outside doors are left open - so you may be left stranded on the 4th floor with no way of getting your luggage down other than walking down to bring the lift back up to your floor. (The lift is used by another hostel on a different floor and also by permanent appartment owners.) The local area also had food places open and was safe and quiet, although there's a tram track right outside.
Hint: buy train tickets from the automated vending machines to save time standing in queues. Enjoy! More >> |
