Prague?s Old Town Bridge Tower is said to be one of the most beautiful towers in Europe, and acts as the entrance to the Old Town. Initially built to ward off invaders into the Old Town district, it offers a beautiful view of the surrounding area. The tower is decorated with artistic sculptures, the most notable being that of St.Vitus and Charles IV.
The location can be reached via metro on line A to Staromestska, and there are several other historical sites located nearby. Take a stroll over the Charles Bridge and admire the view of the Vltava River and the Prague Castle. Several restaurants are located in the vicinity if you wish to enjoy a scrumptious meal.
