Hotels in Nove Mesto
One of the main commercial centers in the city, Nove Mesto is situated in the district of Prague 1. Also known as the New Town, it was founded in 1348, by the Emperor Charles IV. Located south of Old Town and twice as large, the main attraction here is the Wenceslas Square, which is now a popular place for commerce and tourism. It has many shops, cinemas, offices and pubs, and is ideal for those in search of entertainment.
Nove Mesto is known as New Town, because most parts were redeveloped in the 19th century, giving it more of a modern appearance. Local attractions include the National Theatre, the 16th century Renaissance-style New Town Hall and the Jindrizska Tower.
