Hotel is in a very quiet area, the beach is a 5 minute drive or by courtesy bus arranged by the hotel. Bus does not run late evenings so .... click here to readmore >> Hotel is in a very quiet area, the beach is a 5 minute drive or by courtesy bus arranged by the hotel. Bus does not run late evenings so if you dont have a car and want to get out of the hotel down to Vilamoura you need to take a taxi. A good base and the price is great if you dont mind being out of the main resort. Food was nice but the choice was limited. Staff very efficient at fetching drinks, seeing you to your table etc. Reception staff pleasant. Some accommodation does not have private terrace or balcony, so if this is important to you, it would be worth confirming with the hotel when you book. We were there in late May and the evening entertainment was minimal and there isnt much atmosphere if you are expecting a lively hotel you will be dissapointed. It may get livelier in July August. All in all it was a great base for us, we did have a car and the price was excellent if you are on a budget. We were on half board with drinks included, the drinks included were only those we drank at dinner. Other guests told us that they were on half board, no drinks included and after the 1st week they upgraded to fully inclusive as this was a cheaper option. << click here to read less
