Room was large with plenty of space and 2 double beds. Plenty of storage, safe available, Iron ; Iron board, coffee maker provided in the rooms.
Rooms are clean if a little dated, dont expect the Ritz. Maid service every day with clean towels ; sheets, no faults to be found. Air conditioning which can be a bit noisy if on full but got used to it throughout the stay. No longer have computers in the room, but you can connect to the internet wireless throughout the hotel if you wanted to take a laptop with you.
Pool was clean with sun loungers supplied, friendly ducks always around to keep you company when having a swim!
All communal areas were always clean and well presented. Always someone at the reception desk no matter what time we returned back.
Black Angus steak house attached to the hotel is fantastic. Friendly staff and good prices for drinks ; food. Menu was good with plenty of choice, and their steaks are amazing, we have been to one of the best steakhouses in NY and Black Angus is up there with the rest.
Location is fantastic, Wet n Wild right across the road, Universal is 15 minute walk away (average pace walking in 30 degree heat!) or $8 in a cab.
Wallgreens chemist couple of doors down, open 24hrs, KFC also couple of doors away, along with Dairy Queen couple of doors away too.
I-ride stop right outside the hotel which will take you to Seaworld etc.

We found the reception service very helpful they were more than happy to book us disney restaurants etc. Downside to get to the disney parks it was $15 pp rtn or $60 for taxi. So it is worth calculating this into your budget. Upside we could walk to Universal Studios in 15 mins and a taxi was no more than $7.
I think I would try to find a hotel that was nearer to disney or at least offered free shuttle service to and from the parks. We spent approx $450 on taxis! as the $15 bus only left at 8.45am and returned about 6.30pm so that you would miss out on the fireworks, late show etc.
The hotel itself was lovely and the room was very large with a great modern bathroom. It was cleaned daily with a change of towels.
Would I reccommend this hotel? If you had a hire car to cut out the taxis definately. << click here to read less |

This Hotel is great , it is in a brill location and is well worth the money. The pool is great for kids and plenty of seats to lay out while children are playing. The facilities in the hotel are great the free shuttles to some parks and just across from wet n wild which is fantastic.
There is a charge of $2.50 per day for your TV in the room which you are not told about until you are leaving. This I think is a rip off and maybe should be looked into if you are staying for longer then 1 week. << click here to read less |

Rooms were kept very clean, although we may have tested the maid as we were a group of boys. Staff very helpful. We have stayed at more expensive hotels that were nowhere near as good as the Movieland. The location is great for all the attractions and food and entertainment are within easy walking distance if you don't want to take your car. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean and are quite sizeable and comfortable. And I appreciated the free internet access in my room (allowed me to check my credit card and realise a restaurant had double charged me).
The location opposite Wet and Wild at the top of International Drive was perfect for me as I was not going to the Disney theme parks. Even then they would only be a 15 minute drive away if I did.
As someone who spent most of my days outside in the theme parks, and evenings in the bars, it doesn?t take a lot to please me with a hotel as I only really use it for getting changed, sleeping and showering. However I thought Best Western Movieland was an excellent destination and excellent value. I?d highly recommend it. << click here to read less |

Having heard some bad reports about this hotel after I had booked, I was more than a little concerned about what I would find. However, I found everything to be just fine. It's not the Dorchester but represents excellent value for money. The location (opposite Wet'n Wild and very close to Universal) is superb with lots of restaurants close by and an I-Ride trolley stop just outside the door.
