The hotel itself is in a great location on the northern part of International Drive, only minutes away from Universal Studios and I-4, as well as being in walking distance to Wet n' Wild. The ground floor rooms are the best, as you avoid having to use the crummy, heavily in need of repair staircases to get up to the higher floors. These were quite unpleasant and un-nerving to go up during the night, especially for the girls. Rooms were well cleaned, and despite finding a dead cockroach underneath our dustbin, the rooms were generally pest free. I think this is just the unfortunate downside of being on the ground floor. Plenty of parking, and although our room did face out to the side where the property backed onto the motorway, we found it to be no problem or disturbance.
Overall, the hotel offers exactly what you pay for. Basic accomodation, at a basic price.
Would I go there again? Probably yes, but only if it were for a few nights whilst travelling around again. I wouldn't want to take a two week vacation there.
I did find all of the staff to be very helpful indeed though, which often goes a long way towards enjoyibg your holiday. More >> |
