Third time lucky with this this hotel, i have tried to book two years previously, but with the hurricane damage the hotel has had a multi million dollar refurb. The hotel was nicely situated with a ten minute walk to downtown and was very clean. I was also suprised that we did not incur a daily surcharge on our hotel bill which other hotels i have stayed in did. The beds were comfortable and well dressed with crisp white sheets and 5 pillows to each bed, and maid service every day cleaning with fresh towels. The only thing i could say is that because we went out of season in september the pool bar was only open at weekends and the snack bar never opened during our stay, but it was no problem after 5 to get a drink from the inside bar ans take out, the hotel did have a deli style snack bar which offered pizzas, burgers, fries and sandwiches, coffee and tea open early am and closed around 11pm.
Overall a wonderful stay at the Royal Plaza. More >> |
