Only problem we had was that on evening we arrived we were told that there was no room for us and we were sent to stay in a much older and cheaper hotel which we had declined to book on seeing on internet prior to holiday, and we got the feeling that if we had not gone straight back to the bentley hotel the following morning and stayed there waiting until about 2 o clock that day to ensure there was room as people let that day,we feel if we had not taken that action we would have been left in that much cheaper hotel, after saying all that the room we stayed in the bentley was perfect and as we are going to go back to new york we will diffently look to book the bentley as we really enjoyed our stay there and would diffently recommend this hotel as a great place to stay when in New York. We booked a non-smoker room. Given a room on non-smoker floor that had been heavily impregnated with smoke. 3 complaints to desk resulted in none of the promised extra cleaning. We had to buy sprays and flowers to combat the unpleasant atmosphere. No breakfast service. "Belgian linens" turned out to be polyester/cotton mix.
Otherwise staff very good. Read Less
