We planned and booked this as a DIY cheap holiday. We only wanted a room to sleep and get changed in (Family of 4 ). Similar to a Holiday Inn in the UK, but could do with an odd coat of paint and change of carpets to hard flooring in the rooms and corridors. Location is 'Hell's Kitchen' now a very safe area - lot's of small bars, restaurants and fast food nearby. Staff do smile but YOU have to make the first move - much like home here in the UK. Please visit the Penthouse (Top floor - rear wing / entrance to pool), do this twice, night then day, armed with a camera, because you'll see why it's called the "Skyline" fantastic! Check-out is noon, but cases can be left $1. each. The hotel can arrange transport to the airport "Hell's Kitchen Transport" - $59 for a family of 4 including tip! well worth it - we gave John the driver another $20 - a great giude {Please mention these comments} - Set off earlier than needed - rush hour took '2 Hours' compared to 35 mins when we arrived late at night! If arriving late in the day - email the hotel to avoid them letting your room go - we are glad we did - lesson ends enjoy! Read Less

We only stayed one nighht in this hotel so didn't have time to use all facilities. We just used it as a stop over before going to Toronto. The hotel was within walking distance of Times Square but for the price could get somewhere a lot closer. The rooms were going through a refurbishment when we were there so should be a bit more updated in a month or so - use becareful you dont get one of the newlt painted rooms as the smell of paint is overwhelming Read Less
