The location of the hotel was lovely as it was alongside Central Park. The staff were approachable and very helpful. There still seemed to be decorating work going on at this hotel; the bathroom had tile grout/plaster smeared on the walls, and the sheets were too small for the double beds. I thought ventilation was inadequate; our neighbours smoking in their room caused us some discomfort. But it was generally clean and well-maintained. Internet access was shockingly expensive.
As long as you are happy to get your own breakfast [very good in New York!], I would recommend this hotel to any tourist visitor. The staff were helpful and friendly, too. Read Less
