Superb hotel in a fantastic location .The rooms are fantastic, very large by NY standards and very quiet. This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel and we will always return to it when we visit the city.Check in was very slow but this was a minor abberation for a first class hotel

This hotel is perfectly situated, within easy walking distance of many of the sights of New York, ie Times Square, Rockefeller Centre, Central Park, Fifth Avenue, Grand Central Station, and many of New York's finest restaurants and stores. The hotel is adequate for a comfortable stay in New York. Many Hollywood stars stayed here whilst visiting New York in the 60's, and where the Beatles and Elvis Presley stayed. In fact, Cary Grant lived in this hotel for 12 years! It has "faded" a little since then but still has a homely atmosphere.

The room was good value; the hotel was not well placed for the subway, but people who stay at the Warwick will use a taxi.Could have done with a better service for snacks; the bar food was not as good value as the restaurant, and the service in the bar was poor
