enjoyed the stay here / central and good atmosphere / helpful staff. My main gripe was lack of tea / coffee making facilities. i have travelled a great deal and find it remarkable that such a simple thing is missed out in us hotels...even a small kettle would have been useful...especially when jet lagged and room service ccosts so much when there are a few of you. During my stay I lost a very precious item, with great sentimental value. The security staff at The Roosevelt found this item and kept it secure untill I could collect it later that day. Fantastic service, restored my faith in human nature, Thank you ! More >> |

| Both my wife and I felt that we could not recommend the Roosevelt to anyone. Upon checking out we were not even asked if we had a pleasant stay. They didn't seem to care. |

A great entrance lobby and so the rooms in comparison were a bit of a let down. No extractor fan in bathroom and so room smelt fusty and it was extremely noisy!! However they did upgrade us free of charge to a bigger room although it was on the smoking floor and everything really did smell of tobacco. Quite expensive for what you get but in good location. | The room was tiny. They did not provide a standard size double bed and there was nowhere for me to put my case. I was double charged for a tour by the concierge. I would not recommend the hotel. |

Upon arrival of the hotel the first contact we had was very rude, this was rectified by another member of staff that restored some faith in the hotel. The room was nice and very clean, however, a school party was on the same floor as us and we were not warned of this. They made lots of noise, screaming and running up and down the corridor, late into the night. I would have liked to have been given warning of this when we had checked in and an option of another room on another floor. We were given no apology of the noise even when we complained. More >> |

| I found the hotel to be very central - only a two minute walk from Grand Central Station. The hotel was clean and the room service was very throrough. I will definately be staying here again on my next visit to New York. |
