Super location. Basic and clean room which was spacious with king size bed. TV Hairdryer and Iron provided. Large hotel so be prepared for queues at check in. Safety deposits available at reception but also required a long wait in line each time you wanted to go into it! Overall very good and would go back again.

Rooms were basic but sheets and towels changed daily Furniture old but who spends a lot of time in their room in New York. Location is great right in the heart of the city. Empire state building just 2 blocks away Madison square garden and Maceys next door. Greyline Tour bus stops outside Maceys. Times square 20 minute stroll away. For the price we were delighted with this hotel.

Asked for a room on the 3rd fl as have stayed in this hotel before. Hoever, was placed on the 10th fl in a front room that was very noisy. It is in an excellent location however it is old and basic. I would stay in this hotel again but not in a front room as its too noisy.

VERY GOOD LOCATION. ROOM BETTER THAN EXPECTED BUT TOLD I HAD A NON SMOKING ROOM DID SMELL OF SMOKE COULD NOT CHANGE. CHAOTIC AT CHECKIING IN DESK ---- TOO MANY PEOPLE !!!!! VERY EXPENSIVE TO USE HOTEL PHONE --- FIVE MIN.LONG DIST. CALL ---- 39 DOLLARS !!!!!!!!!!!!!

i found people to be very help full. i have stayed in the pennsylvania three times in all and have enjoyed each trip. thank you for a pleasent stay and would like if you could send me any offers you have on as i am going again next feb.

The Pennsylvania was an idel hotel for loction to everthing in new york.When we arrived we had red all the reviews and to be honest a bit scared, but when i was checking in i asked for an up grade and we got it , the room was very basic nut cleenand warm which is what we needed as it was very cold. If i was to be asked were you could stay in new york id be saying there, we have booked for next year and we will bestaying there again , so dont beleve everthing you read the hotel is good for the amount of time you spend it so book it
