Just when I arrived I left my coat in the taxi. The security there are amazing Daniel O'Brien the Head of Security, went through the security tapes to see if he could stop the taxi ID. Unfortunately it was just out of shot, but he did produce his own coat, just dry cleaned for me to use!!! He was amazing! Although I couldn't wear it the gesture was fantastic! I drowned my sorrows buying three coats at Woodbury Common! The concierge were also very helpful and he was able to secure a table for 5 on a sat night in the busy Meatpacking district. Front Desk also helped with a shoe emergency (well the wearer was 22!!) Her Jimmy Choos got New York gum stuck to the base which we couldn't remove, with charm and a rather large tip a super hero came to our rescue !The doormen were a hoot and were so courteous, I intend coming back in March with more girlfriends and booking the hotel again! It was a fantastic weekend and the hotel and staff were just amazing. It is a credit to the General Manager and his team. The area is so cool and great for shopping A++ !! More >> |
