Single-glas windows make the rooms very noisy. We needed earplugs to be able to fall asleep. Big noisy airco unit on 2e floor makes this situation worse. Floors 2 up to 17 (on the backside of the hotel) not recommendable for that reasen.

The location is absolutely fantastic. The best possible for Broadway and very central and convenient for everything else too. Literally next door to Bway theatres & 1 min walk from Times Square. Also near subway, and has a porter who will call taxis. The "Celebrity Deli" restaurant downstairs does great food at all hours, and are very friendly and accomodating. The staff were very helpful and nice, and we were helped and treated extremely well during our troubles due to the recent Blizzard. Cable TV, comfy beds, air con. Also excellent value for money. Unfortunately (this is our 2nd stay, and we have friends who stayed there too), there will inevitably be at least one thing wrong with your room. This time it was (an EXTREMELY annoying) drone that stopped and started throughout the first night and day (but then disappeared) and a window that didn't shut properly.Last time it was tap that wouldn't turn off.If you can look past these things though,there is no better place to stay!

location superb, staff friendly but decoration and size of room very poor. Bathroom was not cleaned properly and the shower could not keep a constant temperature. On arrival the room had not been cleaned properly with rubbish left in the bedside cabinet from the last tennents. Complaint letter in post with photos.

THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS HOTEL IS LOCATION. ROOMS VERY SMALL AND DATED DECOR. ALSO ELEVATORS NOT SUFFICIENT FOR NUMBER OF GUESTS STAYING. TOOK AGES TO GET UP/DOWN. IF YOU WANT NOTHING BUT LOCATION CLOSE TO TIMES SQUARE STAY HERE. OR ELSE LOOK AT OTHER HOTELS FEW BLOCKS AWAY.
