This was our second time staying at this hotel and again we were very pleased with the overall quality of accomodation and service. The location is excellent, across from Penn Station, a few blocks down from Macy's, a short walk to Times Square. We will certainly return. More >> |

| We spent 5 nights in the above hotel and had a very enjoyable stay, we would highly recommend this hotel, very central location in the hub of the fashion district and directly across from Madison Square Garden. |

Really disappointed with this hotel. All the literature about the hotel indicated that all the rooms were suites. Your allocation of rooms was for tiny double rooms adjacent to the lift shafts which meant the room was noisy. The room was so small we couldn't really unpack, we tripped over each other the whole time we were here. The hotel staff didn't care and said this should have been explained to us when we made the reservation. To be honest the hotel was such a disappointment that i hate New York. More >> |

The Affinia offered an amazing amount of space and facilities for the price. Two televisions, two bathrooms, a kitchenette and lots of floor space. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was very good and the waiter couldn't have been more helpful and keen to please. The location was convenient for anywhere in New York - there are subway stations on various lines nearby and Penn Station opposite opened up the whole region including an easy one hour trip to Long Beach - also very reasonably priced compared with exorbitant UK train prices. I cannot praise the hotel enough and I shall certainly use it again if I return to New York. More >> |

Had a really excellent time at affinia manhatten. One minor problem and not sure if this applies to all hotels in tha states, we had an emergency back home and i tried ringing home a few times from hotel and even tho nobody was home i still got charged $10.00 a time for the dial out. More >> |

We very much enjoyed our stay. The only issue was that we had booked double or twin rooms, but when we got there the only way to get a twin was to upgrade at an additional cost of $60 per night per room. Since several of us were friends who were sharing rooms, we really did need two beds, however small. The rooms we finally got were well worth the money, but we noticed that just about everyone who arrived was being told their rooms were very small, and offered upgrades. We think the advertised rates should make this very clear. More >> |
