The Location...

The 3 Star Hotel Genius is a charming hotel located downtown in the centre of Milan in proximity to some of the city`s major landmarks. If one is flying to Milan, the hotel is just 7 km away from Milan`s Linate airport from where Bus no. 73 will get one to Piazza San Babila which is within walking distance to the hotel or one could take the Red Line metro from San Babila getting down at Cairoli which brings one closer to destination. If you wish to take train, the Central railway station is about 3 km from the hotel so you can take Tram no.5 from the station, alight at Corso Buenos Aires and take the Red Line metro up to Cairoli (city centre) once more.

Area Attractions...

The hotel is within walking proximity to the Piazza Duomo (Cathedral Square) which is the heart and soul of the city. The Duomo cathedral which is the symbol of Milan and the fourth largest church in the world, has a relic; a nail, that is said to have crucified Jesus to the cross. In the same peninsula is the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II an elegant, glass roofed, fashionable shopping gallery full of cafes, restaurants and boutiques. The beautiful Castello Sforzesco that is a few steps from the hotel is a castle built by Francesco Sforza in 1450 and contains the Civic Museum; one of Milan`s largest art collections.

The hotel is fully air conditioned and has four floors that are reached by elevator one floor of which is entirely denoted non smoking. The breakfast room holds a rich international buffet breakfast every morning from 7 am to 10.30 am. One could also sip a drink from the array of international drinks and cocktails available at the well stocked bar. The front desk is attended round the clock for the convenience of guests. Whilst checking in remember to notify the hotel what newspaper you would like most to read and it will be delivered to your room next morning. A tour desk is also available for one to plan one`s stay. The hotel does accept small pets.

The hotel has 38 cosy and simple single and double rooms where the air conditioning can be individually controlled. The rooms are equipped with satellite/pay TV, direct dial phone and mini bar for the comfort and convenience of guests. The private bathrooms come with hairdryer.
