TONY (38) HEATHER (37) STEPHEN (23) LYNDSAY (21) LUKE (23) LISA (21) JAY (18) MEL (16) FROM THE ISLE OF MAN. ( OCT 07 ) just returned from a week long stay at this hotel could'nt find too many reviews so heres mine! hotel very old and tired and in need of a refurbishment, rooms clean, pillows like wafers or bricks beds not too bad, air conditioning free and worked fine any problems were reported to reception staff who quickly sent a man to fix them. reception staff friendly and helpful, stayed half board and only ate evening meal twice food horrible really vile! they cater for mostly french german and spanish guests but there was a few english there when we stayed, waiters only the odd one was a misery the rest were ok although we had a discussion with one because the kids had a jug of water and he wanted them to pay yet ours were free. soup was vile, main meal not much choice sweets tasteless ice cream tasted like ice everything the cheapest of the cheap chicken like leather, breakfast not bad we all managed to find something edible every day. bar staff were ok they have a happy hour every day from 6.30-7.30 and the bar gets quite busy and they usually only have one staff on so its slow going! watch miguel because he wants to charge you a different price every time you go up for a round! entertainment staff all french but were friendly, entertainment at night looked rubbish! would'nt return to this hotel or any of the palia group More >> |
