Eating either in the harbour or popping into Palma early evening to look round and have a meal.It very easy to get to Soller, Andrax, Valemossa every where is within easy reach. Have stayed here many times in the past, but I was somewhat disappointed on this occasion. The hotel is well positioned and breakfast is good, but the pool area was not as clean as normal and the air conditioning was not working in the bedrooms, however it was working fine in the Gym! The gym would need to be updated/upgraded to suit the 4* rating. Some of the staff where excellent, eg Reception ; housekeeping, but I found some of the dining and pool bar staff not so pleasant and their english was poor. << click here to read less |

This was our 6th visit and l I hope there will be many more .The Hotel has had a bit of a refurb and continues to give excellent value for money .
The weather at the end of May was in the 90s and the Hotel was almost full because of a very large wedding party there, but there was always plenty of space and sunbeds around the pool area.
One of the main reasons for us staying there is the delightful 'small village feel 'of the town ,and the many superb eating places there particulary The Continental, Paco's and Flintstones being our favourite places. << click here to read less |

I have just returned home today, 29th Apr, and intended to let you know that the total service at the Marina is first class. I shall be submitting some photo's that I took whilst we were there. I can recommend the hotel anytime. I give a special mention to Juan Manuel, the head chef d'table. He is brilliant. A very good, hard working, efficient and friendly man, who made our holiday that much better.

It is let down by its restaurant which is OK for breakfast (except for the coffee from a machine which is poor!) but it is overpriced and just not up to scratch for evening meals probably why you see most guests eating at restaurants immediately opposite the front doors of the hotel! The location is good being in the 'village' of Portals Nous so handy for shops and restaurants in a really nice area of Mallorca. << click here to read less |

The rooms are very pleasantly decorated and comfortable although if visiting in winter, as we did in January, the heating in the room is poor - suggest taking a fan heater. Apart from that the hotel is great, the staff superb and very helpful and the breakfast seelection fantastic
Tha location is great if you enjoy being near a marina. Puerto Portals is very close (easy walking) which is very picturesque, has great bars, restaurants and shops

Not a bad hotel , probably 3 star rather than 4 star but a great location , peaceful yet only minutes away from the marina and nighlife if thats what you want. Great pool area. Staff generally friendly and a good choice at the breakfast buffet each day.Plenty of restaurants in the immediate vicinity.Stayed with my wife and 9 year old daughter and we booked a triple room. A couple of niggles during our stay.
1) Don't book a triple room like we did unless you're a lover of claustrophobia. Small room , with three single beds shoehorned in. When I asked hotel advised none of the triple rooms have a double bed so if you like to sleep with your wife on hols as I do then stay away from these. The hotel offered me a family room which was just the job , seperate double room with double bed and other room has two single beds well spaced out. Perfect for a family of two adults and one or two kids. Bad news even though they had one vacant I still had to cough up an extra ?40 per day.
2) Room had a fridge but it did not work and rooms do not have tea or coffe making facilities. If you drink coffee like I do that's a problem.
3) The bar is totally lacking in atmosphere and even though the menu offers several different types of beer the only beer they had to offer for the entire week I was there was San Miguel. Bar is also pretty pricey. Vodka and coke ?8.50. ?3.50 across the road in Jose's.

Top floor rooms have a great view from large balcony. Lifts are in great condition and hardly had to wait for one to be free.
Pools (outdoor ; indoor) were fantastic and the pool bar is very efficient. Nice stroll to the harbour/yacht yard for nice restaurants and shops. The Continental Restaurant only 30secs walk from Marina Portals has great food and staff! 10/10 My girlfriend and I will be returning! << click here to read less |

Very good hotel would definately recommend it - shame its not closer to the marina but only a short stroll.Rooms a bit out of date but very clean and have everything you need.Pool was nice, enough space so not everyone on top of each other and had activities close by.Only stayed bed ; breakfast but no complaints with food - buffet style.Would recommend the restaurant across from main entrance to hotel called Jose the owner Max is from Milan originally and is very friendly plus the food was excellent.All the local shops close by so if you need anythng you don't have to walk miles.

E.g one night their was spaghetti pasta but no bolonaise sauce. Very odd! Also all the dishes seemed to be displayed in the wrong order. You walk through the door and there are the desserts, followed by the salad, followed by tthe main courses then more salads then more desserts and then a carvery on the other side of the restaurant. There were deficiencies of equipment namely no refrigerator despite this being shown as included in the room price. the hotel does not have enough of them and I had to ask and wait 2 days for one to be installed. We stayed at a very quiet time and service of the buffet breakfast and dinner was good. However items were not always refilled and I feel the restaurant may have been a bit of a scrum when busier. Decor vey old fashioned given that the hotel was opened in 1999 and the lounge bar next to the restaurant seemed very enclosed not benefiting from any natural daylight. If you are hiring a car, you may have to park some way away as parking space is very limited. Overall we enjoyed our stay and found the hotel to be comfortable and the food good if not very imaginative. << click here to read less |
