on arrival at our hotel room we saw it needed cleaning, there were clean towels and the beds were clean but the rest of the room was quite dusty and obviously had not been swept for a while. We went to reception and told the receptionist who got it sorted straight away plus we got the extra pillows we asked for. From then on we had clean towels every day and also the room was cleaned too so we were happy with that. We have been going to Magaluf for around 20 years so we know the area and many of the hotels and always choose a Sol Hotel but we felt that the Jamaica needed a bit of an update compared to the Trinidad or the Magaluf Park, but saying that we will be booking up for next year but not at the Jamaica, but we would say that the food was tremendous as we were half board and there was something for even the pickiest eater, which we are not and will have a taste of anything. I was lucky enough to spend a couple of nights in a diferent room within this hotel and realised it was a better standard to ours. I assume they put groups of lads in the lower quality rooms. Our room was still satisfactory. Read Less

This hotel is great for both families and clubbers alike the only problem I would say is, that due to the location if you come as a family, be warned you will be woken up!
I come here with a group of girls and the location was great for all the bars and clubs, everything was in walking distance but not too close you can hear the music when your trying to sleep!
I did think that the pool was over crowded and the hotel itself needed a lick of paint. The staff were all very friendly and the food was good.
I would come here again if they managed to stop the fan on my bedroom ceiling looking like it was about to fly out the window. Read Less

could'nt fault the hotel:excellent food, rooms spacious and cleaned every day, towels changed every day and staff very friendly.sunbeds could do with overhaul as most were broken.the worst part of the holiday was the english people!!groups of girls and guys who had no respect for anything or anyone.looked like a rubbish tip round the pool when they left each day(cans of cider, pizza boxes, fag packets etc....with a bin 2 feet away!!)and the drunks.....one of whom was sooo drunk from drinking at breakfast in the restaurant that at 8pm he was slumped outside a door in his own crap, literally, with 2 female staff members trying to get him to go to his room....not the sort of thing you want your kids to have to see.felt really sorry for the hotel staff!only went to magaluf to visit my daughter who is working out there....but will never go again.best day we had was when we hired a car and went to porta polensa....beautiful place!!ended up spending the last 2 days of our holiday staying away from our hotel pool as the people were so awful!
