The Horizonte is very clean, staff all very helpful. It is not for people with walking difficulties as it is on a steep hill. There are steps to your left as you come out of the hotel which we found much easier than the road.Taxis from the harbour back up to the hotel as about 4 euro The Horizontr is fantastic value we were really suprised at the standard of the hotel.Palma is a lovely place and views from the hotel over the harbour are amongst the best i have ever seen. << click here to read less |

The only reason I have given an average mark for location is that the last 50 meters require you to be part mountain goat.That said the views from the observation platform that is part of the Hotel are absolutely breathtaking.All the members of staff were very polite and friendly and helpful.Looking down from the viewing area there is just about every type of sailing vessel known to man in the extremely large marina.Views into Palma itself including the Cathedral,Museum,Windmills,a fortress and much much more.Which makes me think my average score for location may be very unkind. << click here to read less |

Fantastic hotel beatiful veiw you can see the whole of the Palma fom the hotel canot fault this hotel the staff were so freindly nothing was too much trouble Down side is if you are not very fit it is on a hill but a taxi only costs 4E to get up the hill which is worth it you will not see a better veiw from the hotel bar it is absolutly amazing Thankyou to the staff of Horizonte for making our stay so nice << click here to read less |

Unfortunately we needed a hotel in an emergency and there were few vacancies this particular weekend so as they say "any port in a storm" The room was clean and adequate for our needs but given the choice of booking for a holiday I would never book this hotel. Although clean it was very run down with thread bare carpeting on the stairs, breakfast was poor but you would not starve. Necessary to be in peak fitness (especially if elderly) to be able to walk to/from the hotel as no restaurants or bars nearby, otherwise it means taxis. However, staff all pleasant enough. Beautiful view of marina from our balcony. Noisy hotel at nights ---- some people staying there had very little respect for others when they came in 3-4 am. << click here to read less |

IT WAS UP A STEEP HILL TOO STEEP TO WALK EVEN FOR THE YOUNG AND ABLE, I WAS THERE WITH MY DAUGHTER ... I'M 52 YEAR AND SHES 25 YEARS ... AND IT WAS TOO MUCH FOR US!!!. WE THEREFORE HAD TO TAXI IT UP AND DOWN THE HILL. IF YOUR DOING THAT 4 TIMES A DAY [RETURN JOURNEY MORNINGS FOR SHOPPING THEN EVENINGS FOR MEALS]THEN IT'S EXPENSIVE YOU WOULD B E BETTER PAYING THE EXTRA FOR A BETTER HOTEL IN THE HEART OF THE CITY. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AROUND THE HOTEL .... NO BARS ... OR RESTAURANTS ... YOUR BASICALLY TRAPPED IN A TOURIST CLASS HOTEL .... NOT A NICE PLACE TO SPEND A DAY AND NIGHT, IT WAS THEN NECESSARY TO GO DOWN HILL. I WOULDN'T GO BACK FOR A LITTLE EXTRA YOU COULD STAY IN THE COSTA AZUL ON THE PORT FRONT OR THE BORN IN THE HEART OF THE CITY.

We bboked a doublt and got a twin, complained about this and they moved us to a double room. In that room we had cockroaches in the bathroom and ants in the main bedroom. We also got bed bugs which we beleive we got whilst staying at this hotel. The other facilities are good, the buffet dinner we felt was too expensive but the breakfast buffet was good. Its a good 10 minute walk up hill from the main bus routes (lots of steps) which we dint find fun in the hot temp. Its a 15 minutes bus ride to Palma centre (where the sights are).We wont stay there again. << click here to read less |

This Hotel has fab views right across the Bay and towards the cathedrial. Although it is a little run down it is great value for the money, not sure i would bother with the evening meal again, the breakfast is basic but ok. There is a great bus service that runs from the airport to the port just a short walk from the hotel, although it is up hill but there are Taxi 's all around, you can also get the bus to all parts of the Island very easly and great value, and very clean.
