A very nice hotel. However, as a 4 star hotel we were surprised by the extremely casual attire of some dinner guests- rules about long trousers were not enforced.
Likewise, there were too many infltables & balls allowed in the pool at ALL times. Not good for swimming. Breakfasts were very good, Dinners were average. Some food was off. A few people went down with food poisonong while we were there! 2 ended up in hospital! Have stayed in far superior 4 star hotels elsewhere.
I might go back but ONLY out of season. The resort is very lively- a bit like Blackpool. Certainly changed since last time we went. We also found that people other than Hotel guests were just coming into the pool & bar area & using the facilities. This is not really acceptable when we had paid good money for a 4 star hotel & others were staying in self catering accommodation down the road!! The reason why this happens is because the bar area (around the pool) is open to the general public!! Read Less
