I recently took my two young sons here for a 3 day mini-break. the complex on arrival seemed ideal with having crazy golf, go- cart track, mini fair etc, but they have a serious problem with mosquitos. We had at least 40 bites between us and when I complained(something ive never done) at reception I was told by the manager it wasnt their problem even though their rooms were infested. I wouldnt stay here again if it was free, my children even wanted to go home early as the bites were so sore. Creams/repellants done nothing. The manager blamed the lake/canal which runs through the complex so basically they are sending in dozens of families into flea-pits fully aware we will all be bitten and saying nothing on arrival about it. Very very poor way to treat your innocent guests, many of whom are little kids. Read Less

Everything about this complex is excellent. Staff are good and friendly and very helpful. All the good stuff is within easy walking distance, beach is about 1 mile, a hard walk in the hot July sun. My only gripe and for this I will not go there again is no air-conditioning, it gets unbearably hot, it hard to get to sleep and even harder to stay asleep. I was out on the balcony every hour to cool down until 5.30ish until the room cooled. It is after all a 3 star, my own fault for not checking further Read Less

Don't listen to negative reviews about this hotel. Myself, wife and 3 daughters stayed here for a week in July and were a bit apprehensive after reading reviews. We had two twin bed studios, one for our two girls aged 16 and one for ourselves and our 3 year old. We asked for rooms near each other and got two rooms in Minerva 2 opposite each other across the corridor both were spotless and the maids cleaned every other day. Rooms had microwave, hotplate toaster kettle, fridge, usual stuff and it all worked. We worried about the mosquitos and packed the repellent spray and plug-ins but none of us got bitten. We didn't go to the Show Garden at night though as we were told it was pricey and that seems to be where to mozzies attack. Plenty of bars/restaurants right outside complex to choose from - Lunas Grill is excellent. Only gripe is there is only one entrance/exit from the complex so it can be a slightly annoying walking round, but minor. Overall throroughly enjoyed the stay and Acludia is excellent for families and we would go again. Read Less

The lake views is excellent. There is also ample parking all around the hotel. The beach is of excellent quality and there are plenty of facilities there too. The appartment was clean and spacious. We didn't feel on top of each other and the shower was powerful and refreshing. The weather was very hot which meant the room did get very warm so hiring a fan or two was essential. Hotel was excellent value for money. The food was of a decent standard and offered me and my children ample variety at breakfast and dinner. There is loads to do in and around the hotel and the nearby beach is fantastic. We would highly recommend the hotel and location for anyone travelling as a small family or as part of a large group. Read Less

On arrival suprised and pleased at our allocated spacious two bedroomed apartment in Ledra II. Only the next day did things go downhill. Strongly advise if you are planning to stay at this hotel do not go All Inclusive, you will spend your whole holiday queuing and waiting for food and drinks. Not uncommon to queue for 45 minutes for a drink in the evening. Meal times we just began to dread - horrendous queues (even out of the door some nights!) in the one allocated restaurant you were allowed to use. Once you got to the food it was a battle to grab a piece of meat quick before you had to wait again for another batch to be cooked (meanwhile the other food going cold on your plate). I have never ever experienced such an unorganised set up before. On complaining the management did not care, in fact, on saying we would not return, they said they were not bothered "So What! you come, you go - another lot come!" The hotel is far, far to big to be able to handle such a vast amount of guests on an All Inclusive basis and keep them happy. The mosts drinks we had each in the evening was three each (and that was when we actually asked for three each on one visit to the bar after queuing for 45 minutes) hence by the time we got to the third it was flat. In the end we gave up and ate out a few times - WHY SHOULD YOU WHEN YOU HAVE PAID ALL INCLUSIVE?? Please do not book this accommodation All Inclusive - I cannot comment on a self catering basis but I would never return. Butlins Hell!!!! Read Less

Booking service very efficient as was running of appartments. We went early in season before easter so some places closed but beginning to open before we left. Porto Alcudia is a family resort. The eating out places were not to our liking as none were authentic Spanish. Lots of Pizza places etc. Also as expensive as eating out in England, if not more so. Wonderful scenery, clean beaches. Porto Polensa worth a visit but expensive to eat out. Buses very efficient, clean, cheap and on time! We used public transport throughout our trip. Virtually every one speaks English but we enjoyed trying to use the language and this was appreciated by most locals. Would use this company again but perhaps in a different resort. Read Less
