We stayed in the apartments for 9 nights in Oct '08 and to be honest it was exactly what we needed. 1 bed apart, over the reception, clean, compact not small, huge pool, restaurant x 2 (1 across the road) huge pool. Most holiday people were German but lovely with such well mannered kids. NO towels on loungers for booking em lol. go to the far end of the pool for the best all day sun spot away from the Dive and Sun.
Buffet breakfast for €5.90 which whas great although the sausages were a bit ropey but that would be my only complaint about it. Advice to get down early because certain cohorts would go down at 8m and stay til 10am. Do not bother going down after 10 because theres a lot of waiting about. 5 mins to the centre of Cala D'or, either via the beach or the road. Some fo the staff were not that great at giving directions but mostly very good. Big love out to Guillermo ont he night desk.. what a lovely man and funny too!!
For restaurants in town can recommend Marivent on the road downt o Cala D'or fromt he apartments and down a little alleyway just down from walshies bar is the most fabulous restuarant, I think its called little Italy or Venice but oh my god the food is fab and the italian owners are beautiful too. (this is just opposite the ice cream shop with fabule cones!! Anyway back to the restaurant ... get the loaded potato skins!! All in all another succesful bookig with Roomsnet!! More >> |
