We only stopped in the hotel for one night as it was convenient to the airport we were travelling up to the north coast the next day. We found the hotel was very comfortable and clean. Would not like to have stayed there for 2 weeks, as you heard the aircraft coming and going. It has a lovely beach and plenty of restaurants. The area is to commercial for us.

The only negative thing we can say about the Hotel was that the quality of the Evening meal was not great. The Breakfasts were really good but the price we paid and all other aspects of the Hotel were first class and we would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, and we had nice view of the beach from the balcony. Staff was generally helpful though they don't speak much English, but managed to get along without using my phrase book. There were plenty of small local shops along the beach, and a couple of internet cafes are available which are cheaper than using the computers in the lobby. Food at the hotel was better than expected for the price, with something for everyone. Bus stop is also nearby, with frequent services to the town centre, although they're quite packed even on weekdays. There are also places for renting bikes and for a relaxing holiday I found renting a car wasn't really necessary, but there are ample parking spaces should you wish to hire one. The room itself was clean. Would have liked a fridge in the room as well, but it's never too much effort to pop down the local shop to get some refreshments. Area was quiet at nights and the air-conditioning was okay considering it was mid-June. Overall I was very satisfied with the hotel and think it's excellent value for money. Would definitely use this hotel again if we're staying in the same area.

Spent 10 days at the Hotel Leo in May 07. It is a good 3 star hotel in an excellent location. The Hotel is only minutes from the beach and shops and offers everything you could need. We were half board and the food is excellent especially considering I was with a very fussy husband and a five year old. Plenty of choice for both breakfast and dinner with lots of fresh fruit and salad every day. The hotel is also very close to the airport about 10 mins in a taxi 15 euros and no problem getting a taxi so dont book in advance it is much more expensive. No problem with the noise form the airplanes you can certainly see them taking off but its great for the kids and it didnt disturb our sleep. The hotel also has air conditioning in all the bedrooms at no extra charge which is rare as we have had to pay extra before for it. We did not spend a lot of time at the pool but it was fine the beach was beautiful cleaned every night and the resort itself is excellent for families. This is one of the few times when we all agreed that we would go back to both this resort and hotel. I also have to say this is the first time that booked both flights and hotel myself and with Roomsnet.com I got a very cometitive price on the accomodation. Air-conditioning in room not the best,entertainment at night wasn't up to much either.breakfasts were brilliant but evening meal not so much (very german orientated).Some of the waiting on staff abit grumpy, pool area good,not disturbed too much from the aircraft noise from Palma airport but the main road behind the hotel was quite busy and if your room was on the side of the hotel-facing the helios (as ours was),the noise was noticable.

hotel ok for a 3 star, however my room was very poor, in need of upgrading 60's 70's, there was no balcony and a great big air con unit blocking the view of yes, the airport. Never again, I asked to upgrade but was declined and spent several hours trying to get in to hotels nearby.Sorry but that's how it was hotel java was good , anfora v good but no pool. golden playa is the one if you can get booked.

We've stayed at the Leo twice now and find it ideal for a short break. The bedrooms and public areas are spotless and the buffet food has something for everyone. It's a 2 minute walk to the beach and bus stop to Palma so it's in a very good position.
